Confirmation
Confirmation classes prepare our young students for full membership in the church. Classes are held every other year for those in the 8th grade and above.
Confirmands are required to attend the following (Mentor & Confirmand attendance is in red):
Three 3-4 hour sessions in November, February, and April of 2010 with other classes/fieldtrips in between that have not yet been scheduled.

One Church Council Meeting during the year. These are held on the 3rd Monday of each month except in December.
Confirmands are required to know the following:
Church History
United Methodist History, Doctrine, and Policy (Church Organization)
The types of books in the Bible
Ten Commandments
23rd Psalm
John 3:16
The Lords Prayer
The Apostles Creed
Rev. Ladd assigns each Confirmand a Mentor who will meet with the Confirmand to discuss faith issues and what it means to be a Christian in todays world. Confirmands must complete the classes, the requirements, and the process with their Mentors in order to be confirmed.
